I understood the jokes...

since I've played the game. But there are a lot of people who haven't played it before. Consider giving a little background as to what's SUPPOSED to happen next time. Also, it was a little slow. Up the frame rate next time.

you're 4 levels below the castle series

Considering how well the castle series is put together, only being 4 levels below is a good thing. Since everyone else seems to be talking about how this is like the castle series, I believe I'll look at what this lacks.
1: The backgrounds are more visually appealing in the castle series
2: The sticks are more detailed in the castle series (especially at a distance)
3: The castle series has voice actors
4: The castle series has more than just stick figures, however detailed they are

I'm not saying that this isn't a good flash, don't get me wrong. But if people want to say it looks like the castle series, I'm going to argue it doesn't for the reasons above. You can still have a completely unique flash and add all those elements to it. Perhaps you can even add things that the castle series lacks. I look forward to your next submission :)

Nice job.

Seemed to be lacking much of a story, but it was still well done. The only problem I really had was when Goku swore. I mean, come on, that's almost as bad as say having Babidi be a good guy. Anyways, aside from that, very well done.

Well, I watched it all the way through, and wow was it long. It was too redudant though. I've heard a shortened version of that song, and that may be why I got so bored with it. If you think about it, unless you do a completely different style with your animation for each verse (or maybe every other verse), it'll get boring no matter what they're doing. If it hadn't been for that, I'd say this was way up with other great movies. Ironic that some people (who obviously didn't watch it) say it was too short, when in my opinion it was too LONG. You can probably tell that I haven't seen Lost, but that doesn't change the fact that it's on here to be seen by both those who have seen it and those who haven't. If / When you do another, consider making it shorter, or at least much more varied. I didn't time it, but after I while I was just waiting for it to end, and I'll bet many other people were too. Despite that, it was still well done, especially the animation. Good luck in the future.

That's a fair statement to make for people who aren't familiar with the show, but keep in mind that what you're attempting to do is akin to judging the length of a play when you don't speak the language that it's presented in. One of the goals I had in setting out on this was to hit almost every major plot point from an entire television season in lyrical form, and when you know what those are then you may find that there isn't really very much redundancy in the video. So if it's a choice between catering to people in the target audience and everyone else, I'm going to come down on the side of the target audience every time.

That said, I do regret not putting in more silly imagery in every section to keep non-fans entertained, but I kinda had to put a large chunk of my life on hold to get it to this level and I really couldn't afford to do that any longer. I am thinking about doing an enhanced director's cut later, but making a living and being available to friends and family again has to take precedence for now.

I fully understand the concept of having really long credits and a very short movie. I also fully understand that I didn't find it humorous. For starters, I realized it was going to be nothing but credits extremely quickly. The fact that there were only 2 people only sped up that process. The scores I gave for your "movie" take almost no consideration of the overdone credits. The credits were long, boring, and not funny. If it had been shorter, maybe it would have been more enjoyable. Then again if pigs could fly maybe they'd rule the world. Regardless, my point is only a few people find this funny, and that point is proven by the score you've received.

1st Rule of Thumb: Never bore your audience.

Yeah, it's a bit of a hit and miss joke, but judging from the reviews I'd say the majority got the joke and had some sort of a chuckle.

Movies don't always look to entertain.

MAYBE, the movie is ultimately about getting a reaction from the audience, whether it's positive or negative. As you already said, it's got quite a few reviews for such a short movie and simple joke.
I think I did alright.

This is such old stuff it's not even funny. But I'm not here to complain about it, for once. You know what might give one of yours a significant score boost? If you editted Hitler so that he was in color. Now I know that Hitler never has a color picture taken of him, but it would still boost your score for the change of pace. And actually it should be too hard with photoshop either...

Better than expected...

When I saw that it barely passed judgement, I expected something quite dull. What I found was a pleasent surprise. Although not the best flash in the world I believe it deserved better. Next time consider more action, though. I look forward to any sequels you make.

It's Shenlong in the Norwegian version. I've never seen it in english or japanese so I wouldn't know.
